Our Story
Am Di Avenue was founded in 2026 by designer Amelia Djeric.
Words from Amelia.
I was very lucky growing up. I never had uncertainty about my career path in life. I always had a vision for my future, and that was to work in the fashion industry.
At age four is when I discovered my overarching love for fashion.
My Mum recalls:
“She would spend hours and hours at the kitchen table designing - dresses with matching handbags, shoes, jewellery. I always told her she’d have her own label called “Am D”, so every sketch she’d sign with “Am D”.”
Now written as Am Di Avenue, this title isn't just a play on my name as it once was, these three words tell a story.
“Am Di” represents my name, Amelia Djeric. Followed by “Avenue”, a word that is used to symbolise my future journey is the fashion industry - all the paths I follow, the approaches I make, results I achieve, hardships I face.
It was the 2024 summer break. I had just graduated high school and was heading into my first year of my Fashion Degree. Over this time I had filled all 250 pages of my small sketch book with designs for Am Di Avenue.
No sewing machinery, no manufacturer, no patternmaking or sewing experience, just pure eagerness to start what I had always wanted to.
After thorough patternmaking classes, hundreds of sewing tutorials watched, two sketch books down, never ending fabric samples, hours of business research, hours of sleep lost, garment machinery upgrades, many nervous breakdowns, many learning curves...
There was growth.
Two years later, and I’m shifting my dream into a reality, finally launching Am Di Avenue.
My “avenue” has already begun, and I'm beyond excited to see where it takes me.

Am Di Avenue values our consumers individuality, comfort, and our planet, with the mission of sustainably designing and crafting never seen before pieces.
Am Di's womanswear designs are unique - out of the ordinary. Each piece is born with the goal of adding new to the fashion industry, not repeat what's already been done (whats the fun in that?!).
While doing so, there is always great thought about the most sustainable approach to garemnt production and fabric selection.
Every piece is designed and crafted with the consumers experience in mind. We aim to consider all body shapes and sizes. Additionally, we strive to create pieces that are comfortable for the consumer, making those who purchase from us feel the best version of themselves, while still experiencing the Bold Elegance Am Di Avenue's designs deliver.
